PROBLEM INSTALLATIONS

This picture shows the improper mixing of metals in the installation of this Gutter. The Steel Screw through the gutter into the fascia is rusting and sending rust residue throughout the gutter into elbows and downspouts. This will cause Aluminum to Rot!

The “Spike & Ferrule” is a cheap way to hang gutters and it will fail. Gutters fall off! That’s why the inexperienced installer’s solution is to shoot a steel screw between the Spikes into the fascia, hoping it will help hold things together. It doesn’t!
